Randy Lane Biography

Hailing from Florida, 3rd generation drummer Randy Lane began playing onstage at the tender age of six years old. Randy was brought up listening to the country greats, as well as the elite rock groups. Randy's grandfather taught him early how to properly play a 2-step, as well as shuffle's. Randy's father was instrumental in teaching him to play for the song and to "keep it simple".

In 2000 Randy Lane joined the band No Address. Randy and the band No Address signed with Atlantic records in 2002. In 2003, Randy and the band No Address entered the studio with producer John Kurzweg, (Creed, Puddle of Mudd).

In 2005, No Address hit the road in support to their release entitled "Time Doesn't Notice". The group's debut single shot up the Radio and Billboard charts, peaking at #12 on the Billboard Charts. With the group No Address, Randy toured nationally and internationally for over a year promoting their album. After a year of non-stop touring, No Address disbanded.

In 2007, Randy Lane joined the Pat Travers Band. During his tenure with the band, Randy recorded several singles and one full-length album with producer Steve Thompson (Guns-N-Roses, Korn). Randy also toured the US, Canada and over 10 countries worldwide.

In 2008, Randy joined Atlantic Records recording artist Carolina Liar. Randy and the band toured the US in support of their hit single “I’m Not Over” from the certified Gold album “Coming To Terms”.

Currently, Randy is working with various artists recording new albums as well as teaching privately..
